Psycho City Drums are designers and builders of the finest affordable drums and kits on the market.

I started Psycho City Drums with one concept and focus which was, to offer the best sounding custom finished drums at an affordable price for all levels of players. Over the last twenty-nine years, I have played every brand on the planet, some were good and some were…….. well, let’s leave it at that.

I have taken the best features of all these drums and incorporated them into my very own version of  what quality drums and kits should be.

A lot of drum companies start with good ideas and products but lose focus once they taste the success of a solid brand name and a fat bottom line. Psycho City Drums manufactures each and every drum with the heart, soul and energy that all drum manufactures should strive for.

All Psycho City Drums are built fresh to order. We use no hi-tech machinery to produce our drums and kits. Each drum is manufactured by human hands right here in the U.S.A. nothing more, nothing less!

Anyone can build drums and call them custom, it’s the end result that makes us stand out from the rest.

You get what you pay for…..

With Psycho City Drums you have a choice! We currently produce two lines. One hundred percent maple (Custom Series)  or one hundred percent birch on our (Recording  Custom Series)

Never will you find us using any other wood species to produce our shells. Sure, we could build a very cheap kit with exotic cardboard blends at a very inexpensive price, but as the saying goes……. You get what you pay for.

Psycho City Drums have worked hard over the years building a solid product and company name. When you buy one of our drums or kits, you get an entire company backing quality, integrity, service and affordability.

We are making a name and sticking to it…..

If you are going to make a claim “Made In America” then DO IT! Our drums are drilled, machined, finished, assembled and shipped right here in Detroit, Michigan. We live here and our money should stay here. We will not have our drums produced in any other country period    Never!  We make this claim and we are sticking to it.
